About us

Kenmore Highland Games is unique in the calendar of Scottish Games.  We are the only Games to take place during the evening and among just a handful of Games that takes place during the week. 

Run by the Kenmore & District Sports Association, the Games are organised, set up and run by a committee of local volunteers, many of whom are continuing the work of their fathers and, in some cases, grandfathers to deliver a Games that is small, friendly and provides a chance to highlight the beautiful village of Kenmore and the spectacular  surrounding countryside.

The Kenmore & District Sports Association was formally constituted in 1975 by ………………. .  The playing field, site of the Games, was purchased and a Club House, children’s playground equipment and eventually an area of hard standing suitable for tennis, five-a-side football, netball etc added.  The aim of the Committee was to provide an area where the local community and summer visitors could play sports.  Today the Club House is used by many local groups and is available for hire – details below.  Today the site is used by local children, visitors as originally intended and of course The Kenmore Highland Games!
